I also read about Delia Smith and her co owner too. They have no intention of falling into the foreign ownership or high debt and effectively rely on the parachute money, which as you know gives them (and all relegated clubs) an enormous advantage.

I totally agree with them and it is a model we seem to be following albeit on a smaller scale.

The other thing to bear in mind is that due to the COVID situation and lack of supporters and hospitality etc, numerous Championship clubs are in financial difficulties and seem to be relying on the loan that is currently stalling.

It may not happen this season but I reckon a lot of clubs are on a financial precipice so if we can stay up I think we will be in a good position.

We are a well managed club and I think the FL should reward clubs who are responsible and would wipe the smiles off these Billy big boots teams who relatively speaking get rewarded for failure, and think it is their right to be at the highest level such is their pedigree. What a load of guff.

I have to laugh at clubs such as Forest, Derby, Wednesday and Birmingham who jibe at us and regard their games against us as must win, or easy games. How embarrassing to be at the same level as TEAMS LIKE ROTHERHAM.

It’s a measure of how much progress we have made that such clubs see us in this light.

When I was in my early twenties all these teams were Prem Clubs and of course Derby and Forest were under Cloughie and all that success.
Now tell me how successful are those clubs compared to us? Relegation for any of the above teams, and many more would be a disaster whereas for us, it would be disappointing but not such a disaster.

Now, I have travelled to Swansea on a Tuesday and in the same week, to Southend, not to mention travelling through the night to places such as Exeter and Plymouth. Also Carlisle for a Tuesday night game and Queen of the South for a friendly, and while I loved those trips I would much rather have the fixture list we have now.

So I would say to all those who want change and bearing in mind where we were only 13/14 years ago, be careful what you wish for.

If these other football teams were interested in football rather than putting their heads under their own Harris, they might reach the conclusion that TEAMS LIKE ROTHERHAM are actually very successful and to compete as we are is to be applauded and not frowned upon.
Agree with 95% of what you say but I think Mr Stewart goes 'all in' to the point of it still be financially sound, we push that ceiling of championship finances to our max. Wise. Norwich don't push their premier league ceiling to its max whilst being financially sound still. That's where issues come up, they seem to go many percent points down and then people ask why. If you get what I'm saying without it sounding like I want them or us to just got OTT.

Is that you actually admitting you were completely wrong about Johansson or would you still drop him and play Vickers tomorrow?

I’m glad Johansson is now getting the nod as regular keeper

It never made much sense giving more game time to a loan player

As others have stated about Hirst and Flo Jo, these were great signings when it happened. So why as it failed??

Hirst, maybe Leicester thought he need a few games to see if he was worth keeping for a longer contract, well, we know the answer to that.

Flo Jo, it makes you wonder why a team pays £2.7m for someone and doesn't play them?? If he was bad news in the dressing room PW would have run a mile from signing him. Does he need a run in the team? He's got to show something. Trouble is, where does he fit in in our 3-5-1-1 formation?? Probably bring him on for last 15mins as a No10??

Think Hirst has had his chance now, FJ, not too sure................
