Exactly...in a nutshell. All that matters today has been done. Heart rate returning to normal and putting things right can wait...till Monday!

Obviously, Rotherham will be gutted and deserve much credit for nearly nicking it. Thanks to Cardiff, played to the final whistle when it would have been easy to 'go with the flow'! Finally, a special and sincere message to Wycombe, I thought you were out of it but you really gave your all and nearly did it! You'll be back and good luck.
Which reminds me, we nicked a 94th minute goal at their place after suffering an aerial bombardment for a 2-4 win. Just shows you!

    Fecking embarrassing

Actually its you that are the embarrasment, you call yourself DCFCArmy.....'ARMY' FFS and all you ever do is slag the owner, the club and the players off, what sort of army is that.

Listen I can be as critical of the players as well and have been recently, I've even stated we deserve to go down and resigned myself to that so staying up would be a bonus - call me pessimistic thats fine because I am I accept it but who cares its not about me its about DCFC on the field.

In some ways I agree with you, yes we are 5hit, we played bloody awful football and are lucky to have stayed up, I'm not celebrating like its a cup final and I don't any Derby fans are, just celebrating todays win and league survival but I would put my mortgage on it that all fans know there needs to be serious investment and change.

I agree with you also that Mels tenure has ultimately been a disaster but will not slag the bloke off for pouring 200 million of his own money into Derby County, lets not put all the blame on him, yes he's sacked plenty of managers for their failures too but he never shied away from backing every single manager who thought they were the one, with the right players they thought they'd get us promoted........none of them did but Mel trusted them and they let him down, yes he's made mistakes, was poorly advised but he always stumped up the cash, didn't see any fans moaning when we were signing £6m players did you?

So tonight I'm not celebrating like we've won the league but I'm happy we did survive but I know this team needs to be disbanded, luckily most are out of contract or going back off loan, I also don't think the kids are the answer, not in the numbers we've had on the pitch this season which was done out of necessity more than anything else, next season we need proven championship players and a few hopefully prem loans and a drizzle of academy players

Suggestions have been made by some from Florist that it was embarrassing to see the players celebrating finishing 21st. Fair enough, is it celebrations or an expression of relief. We may have benefited from the Millers fixture pile up and the Owls 6 pt penalty but if the footballing god's have let us off then I'm not embarrassed! So the whinge bags can suck their own ....!

I'm not going to deny the footballing gods owed us one after the past 6 years of playoff heartache, being top numerous times and falling away, being 18 points clear of 7th in 2014-15 and not even making the playoffs after being top 2 for a long period, the Zamora goal, the Villa game etc, we've had our fair share of heart wrenching disappointments and yes we deserved one to go our way for once

But fecking hell lets not celebrate to wildly

Who’s celebrating ‘wildly’? No one complained about celebrating too wildly at Elland Road two years ago...but ultimately the result is the same...we’re in the Championship again next season.
Fortune favoured us for the first time in weeks yesterday...it makes no difference in terms of our numerous shortcomings...but we can be happier than fans in South Yorkshire or Wycombe this morning and, without disrespecting them, that’s surely worth a smile.

I don't feel sorry for Sheff Weds but I do for Wycombe, a club that leaves everything on the pitch

    Big up Wycombe Wanderers

As for Forest they have nothing to cheer about, they are about to enter the same state we and Sheff Weds are in, we had to do a dodgy stadium sale to ourselves to find a way around the short term problem. Not sure what they can use to get around their incoming problems and their squad is an aging one with no real quality.
