All in all sounds an impressive signing by a club with a very confident manager with ability.

Certainly looking like a club with real intent to get out of the NL.

Time will tell if their spending will prove beneficial, ditto the other "big two".

Wrexham, Stockport and Chessie now have 2 very good strikers who should be amongst the NL's leading scorers.

Feel somewhat deflated this morning. Had a quick look on the Chessie fan website, then wished I hadn't.
I know I keep going on about this, but we also have two very good strikers who should be among the leading scorers. We just haven’t had to sign them.

    Blimey only just seen this.

If there was a league for exciting summer signings, we’re certainly struggling to get in the playoffs. But we won that 3 years ago in league 2 and look what happened.

Thankfully the real thing starts next week, but I think we’ve got a real battle on our hands to even match the last 2 seasons.

Kyle is one, he needs 4 chances to score every goal. I like him and he should be good for 15-20 goals.

Who is the other one Jacob ?

Cal isn't a striker, more a winger ? but if he stays fit maybe 15 goals.

Ruben ? He isn't a true striker either is he ? If we see the Ruben of the last 12 or so games, could get 15 goals. If we see the luxury inconsistent player that preceded that, who knows.

Mitchell may prove a great signing but he is unproven over a period of time (at this level)

Sam and Knight are not ready/the answer.

I like the optimism (or is it my pessimism) but this dream forward line that some Notts fans are raving about, I just don't see it. Obviously I really want to be proved wrong and have to come on here and admit it !

Under reported fact, but our out and out striker last scored away in November. I wonder if the owners have run the stats on that?

Rodrigues is a striker. For two thirds of the season we played him in midfield and that’s when he was a luxury player, he struggled to get into games, looked frustrated, wasn’t involved enough. The moment he was put upfront with Wootton, he became our most effective player and was the top scorer in the division over the games where he played upfront. We’d be absolutely mad to move him back into midfield to accommodate a new striker IMO. I expect him to get 15 goals minimum playing there.

We have loads of little question marks about us in other areas of the pitch, but I’m very confident that we’ll score enough goals next season.

    Hope so Jacob.

An intriguing season ahead with many surprises along the way.

Andy Dallas apparently is on the move and is in discussion with another team. Could well be League 2 but more likely National League.

Of the teams you'd expect to pay a transfer for him, leaves us or Wrexham
