Asked both the loons if they fancied Pittodrie, no way was the answer from both, we're always shyte against Livi, so off I pops along for my first game since before Lockdown and wish I had listened to my loons and not bothered. I haven't seen them play this season other than highlights off the telly, which to be honest hasn't been much, but to my eyes that was as bad as anything I have seen since Pele ruled the roost down Pittodrie Street.

Like the Pele years we lack creativity in the middle of the park and good defenders at the back and confidence is shot to bits, but other than that we didn't look too bad.

From what I saw today I would say that the players aren't too happy with their new manager. I'm not fussed about about Goodwin telling some they haven't got a future at the club, none of them could have any complaints based on what I seen today and should be professional enough to get on with the job of proving him wrong or at least trying to impress future employers.

I'm not going to be calling for Goodwins head already, far too soon especially when we apparently paid a big fee (for us) to get him, but he has some job ahead of him during the summer and we need more than players who can do a job, we need some quality all over the park, something I didn't see much of today, but can we find that quality to lift us, never going to be easy in the market we are competing in.

I would say Hayes was decent today and McKenzie & Barron too were decent. Have never seen the fuss over Ferguson and did little to convince me today that we will see big money offers for him in the summer.

Goodwin has fired his arrow too early- all very well telling players they will be leaving, but not before you are safe FFS.
The players who generally seemed to appear to like the training of Glass -despite not showing him in game time- don’t seem to be responding to the style of Goodwin.
Poor appointment and only one man to blame for that
We are worse than the St Paisley team we paid good money to release him from. If we do avoid relegation I hope he has some better ideas next season or he will need to be gone by October

We have been absolutely horrendous all season, that’s down to the poor signings Glass made more than anything. I don’t think any of his signings have been a success.

When we got papped out of the Scottish cup in February there was still people on here saying that Stephen Glass needed time to turn things around.

If that was the case then Goodwin deserves at the least the same amount of time.

Goodwin is a horrendous manager. Getting found out big time at Aberdeen. Stephen Glass wasn’t a great manager but let’s be honest….he was better than what Goodwin has been.

    Groundhog day.

Same toothless attack, same shambolic defence, same complete lack of creativity in midfield.

Thats on Glass, this is his squad. Its utterly horrendous.

Glass is on Cormack. A ridiculous appointment. Inexcusable really.

Goodwin is rapidly using up his stores of goodwill though. As bad as this squad is - and pound for pound its as bad as anything we’ve ever had, if not worse - it is very worrying thats he’s not been able to get any sort of improvement out of them at all.

Anything less than a win next week and i think we’re in the playoff. Im far from convinced we can win next week with that shower of shyte of a squad.

A scandalous situation for the club to have got itself into. Shameful…

We didn't have the balls to get a point and nxt week it'll be either of those 2 score lines again and more than likley a McGinn winner for Dundee.

It feels like we have more chance of being managed by Jimmy five bellies than Jimmy two wins at the moment

To many weak minded players at the club on easy money
It's an easy life at Aberdeen FC for the majority of player's
Good facilities, a club with low expectations when it comes to player's who can actually defend or be creative.
Just pick up a good wage despite how you preform
The club is and latterly has been a home for unachivers and dross
Goodwin has not made the impact I expected him to make but remember he has very little to work with.
We don't have fighters in are current squad hardly any of them have any personal pride in there personal performances
In summary it goes back to recruitment which has been simply awful in recent seasons, Bates Gallacher prime examples
Should we stay up and I think we will just get rid of dross and bring in players from overseas
Overseas players generally more professional and comfortable on the ball and their work ethic is higher than the average Scottish player
A win over Dundee is essential.
To lose that one and I would then say we would be play off materail

It's nae often a bad refereeing decision goes our way, but thank f'uck for that Jenks "hand ball" goal at Perth.

    It could keep us up.
