I completely agree. If we are going to have any chance of getting promoted via the play-offs we need to avoid conceding two goals a game.

Something about that area of the country. Lost all three at Eastleigh and both at Aldershot before today since coming down.

Two shots, two goals... Jarod back in net. What exactly is wrong with Slocombe?

IB's notion that keeping the ball reduces the opposition's ability to score is disproven by the fact that we've conceded more goals than any other team in the top ten. Clearly the weakness with our team is a lack of defensive resilience.

On paper Aldershot are poor but they still need points to be safe and they will fight this was never going to be an easy game.
Nah, this smacks of IB being too smart for his own good - too many changes today.
As you say in your last line - as the most difficult of our remaining fixtures, this match warranted our best side.
Monday against Dover was the match to give a rest to anyone who needed one. And this isn't hindsight, I fully expected our strongest team today as I think most did.

As I said earlier, we have a great coach, just need a good Manager!

When the pressure is on, sadly, you know exactly how Notts are gonna react.
