Well played Notts, fantastic by both the players and management. What a Bank Holiday weekend, two tough games on paper and 6 points. Really pleased and I can't help believing this could be the season we go up!

Barnet currently 2-0 up against Eastleigh. Pushes us down into 4th as it stands but only 2 points behind The Crooked Spireites up top.

Totally different game to Halifax, loads of chances, but couldn’t take em. Pressing well all over the pitch, not really something we’ve seen from Notts before. Bajrami a man mountain in midfield, just what we’ve been missing. Proper competition there now, with Austin desperately unlucky to be on the bench.

Let’s not mention their penalty shout though…

We carry on playing like that throughout the season and add a little more of a ruthless streak, this season should have a very decent ending.
    Totally agree.

We looked like a well-organised and solid team today and the 3-4-1-2 formation really seemed to suit the players. Bajrami was indeed immense - the steely presence we've been crying out for in midfield, but with quality on the ball too. He allowed Palmer to concentrate on play-making from deep, and Ruben could make attacking runs in the knowledge that the we had a real anchor in place.

The front two looked a threat even though they didn't score, the wing-backs did well, and the back three were OK most of the time, although they did get caught out once by a long, straight ball which shouldn't happen.

I still think we should get the ball into the box more often for the amount of possession we have, but overall we played well, making a good opponent look ordinary.

I don't get down too often but that was a performance of champions. Looked better in every single department than a tough team who will be around the play-offs.

Only 1-0, but it was closer to a 5-0 than a 1-1 in terms of the match.
Thought by his super high standards for Notts ,Palmer was slightly off it. Personally i would have made Bajrami MOTM and not Ruben but as long as we win , not too bothered.
I do worry about Nemane defensively as he is just basically a winger and every time the opposition attack we look vulnerable.
Was expecting TAR to get some minutes today.

Great game, the intensity off the ball today and Saturday is the biggest difference I’ve noticed on top of mixing it up a bit, all very promising. Thought Bajrami was absolute class, no need for DCM if he can keep that up. We still need a couple though so we have strength in depth.
