Would of started with High in the number 10 slot to provide some link between the midfield 3 and Kelly. Would of gone some way to negating the 20 yard gap between the midfield and attackers that we had all game. Decent on the ball, good energy to make runs off of Kelly and Would of been another body, albeit slightly higher, to help with the battle for midfield supremacy. Is what it is however.

Apart from that, what many have said really. We were ****e. Minus the above I don't have anything different to add.

Onto Burnley, 16 games unbeaten, we may well end that run. You never know, it is a funny old game after all.

Coming up on the 25th anniversary of when we won there on what I believe was our Sky debut. We need to invoke the ghost of Trevor Berry.

In actual fact we have a pretty even record against Burnley W13 D15 L14 but we haven't beaten them in 4 attempts since 2004. Time to break that run? Play like we did today and we'll be lucky to get 0

Think positive. Hall Kioso Chieo could all be back at Burnley. At last we can play my preferred back 3 Harding Hall McCart. Kelly lone forward. Chieo on the left. Right to left across the middle Kioso or Norton-Cuffy Rathbone Lindsay Barlaser Wiles Chieo. Who would have expected Leeds to win at Liverpool! Set up right to give yourself best chance of getting something there.

I don’t expect much of a result away at Cardiff. I do expect some energy and effort and everyone was a bit flat today.
Away at top of the league Burnley and then at home to Norwich who have got Aaron Ramsey banging them in.

I just want to see us compete. That is what we are in this league for.

Can’t afford to dail in performances anymore.

Just had a scroll through this thread and find the Yates stuff ridiculous. Of course he’s improved in 3 years playing consistently at a higher level. Footballers have been doing that for years. Warne gave him more opportunity than Warnock, Stubbs or Redfearn put together but 2 goals in 47 games wasn’t cutting it and that included 20 appearances in a promotion winning year. I haven’t seen anyone complain that Carlton Morris is banging them in at Luton.
I find it funny how a player that no one rated and is doing well is being lauded but Vaulks and Semi who were loved here and cannot get a game aren’t cited as good business.

    6 in midfield?
What are your subs, given most of that midfield have struggled for fitness recently and can't last 90 mins

Chieo can't cross with his right foot so there's not much chance he'll be able to do it with his left.

Pleasant day out in Cardiff spoiled by 95 minutes of turgid non football. The most depressed I've been at a game in years.

    No width
    No pace

No idea if there was any game plan, not evident.

6 in midfield shouldn't be spent so early. High to bring on.
