East to remember with gwru. If they didn't play many games for us he said they are good players. I'm confident he said george Hurst was a player he liked.

Peltier was brought in to rotate with woods. We can all see they don't work together but both play well when they are the sole leader.

Bramhall in league one was class for Lincoln and players we should be taking a risk on. Given time he will improve.

Washington works hard. Has scored 2 lovely goals and players better with ogbene. Not sure he will score enough goals to say he's been successfully this season.

Cuffy. First 2 games I though omg,. What has warne brought in. Then he had 2 ok games followed by a motm game. Then last 2 he's been poor.
Something I notices when we played, I believe millwall. MT called the players over when the game stopped. All came over except cuffy who just stood with his hands on his hips looking at the bench. I don't think he's warming to MT..

Humphreys I like. The way he plays He looks slow and laboured but he always seams to be in the right place at the right time. His best games are when we have hall and wood along side him. Think he will be good for the millers..

Hall,. Perfect signing for the millers,. Not too old. Good height and willing to stick his head in. Yes he has a pace problem but most tall CB do.

mcCart, high and kioso I've not seen enough to say either way
Derbyshire miller. What's you think of my assesment. Agree? Disagree?

It`s obvious that certain people....Gru,Grist,etc,couldn`t stand Warne and his style, even when we got promoted, there were the not so sly digs at him,so now it`s obviously his fault, now he`s nowhere near the club !
As others have said,he signed the best players he could, these players alnong with the others got us up to the dizzy heights of 8th in the table when he left, but I guess that was just luck.
Right now,we are higher in the league than anyone on here could have have hoped for at the start of the season,so yes...his signings have worked.
For what it`s worth, the only one I don`t really get is Eaves,I thought he was bang average before he came to us,and I haven`t changed my mind yet.
I hope that one day I will grow Gru`s magic eye for a player,as he is never wrong about one.

Yes but strangely, Taylor's style seems to be more like Warne's style prior to this season.

Correct, he does it every season. He picks a couple of players, usually young lads from the youth team or somebody who hasn't been given much chance like McCart, and bangs on about them repeatedly so he can claim to be a genius who spotted something nobody else did if they happen to get in the team and do well. If McCart was playing every week and Humphreys wasn't getting a look in, he'd be posting that McCart was crap and Humphreys should be starting.

He conveniently forgets doing it for the likes of Jake Cooper, Akeem Hinds and Darnell Bailey-King. He'd be clamouring for Mack Warne to be starting if he didn't hate his Dad so much.

MB, the wheels were in motion as Warne was informed one out one in etc hence why Kayode was sent to MK Dons. Target sighted but, was the money always there to bring said player in? Well it never materialised so you have to work out if this is what really pissed Warney off and his move to Derby?

Bit of effort gone to here when essentially rehashing the same beliefs that have been expressed numerous times.

You think we haven't recruited well, we get it. Caught the repetition bug off gru?

Like the sensible heads have noted, we are 13th in the Championship after 17 games. Perfect? No. But do get a grip on the reality of the task we are facing. By and large performing admirably, sometimes falling short on quality.

Weren't we meant to be 10 points adrift after 10 games? Didn't happen did it? Weren't we meant to be easily beaten against the likes of Watford, Preston, QPR, Stoke, Swansea etc etc? Didn't happen. Just for once, try seeing what the players are capable of instead of ALWAYS, and I really do mean ALWAYS, pulling them down with their shortcomings. Them and the club. As a fan, it is poor to always come from that angle. We all have a gripe now and again but constantly bringing them down lacks something for me.

And no, that isn't rose tinted glasses. Just someone who wishes to believe in players who have given me ample reasons to believe.
