Newish Pie the figures are out there for the panelists involved in Question Time in the lead up to Brexit, and they are overwhelmingly in favour of Remainers. Anyway it is old news, and the shame is that the defeated side, didn't get behind the result of the democratic decision, to make for a much smoother transition to life outside the EU.

Well, I've not seen these figures. A link to a credible source would be interesting. Either way, this is no comparison with so-called GB so-called News having Tory MPs interview a Tory minister on a news or current affairs show.

Others have made good comments about how politicians tended to favour remain on the whole - all the Lib Dems, most of Labour, a sizeable minority of the Conservatives. I just remember Farridge being on TV non-stop for what felt like years, being allowed to talk absolute nonsense with little or no meaningful challenge.

I'm interested in this Leaver tendency to blame Remainers for how Brexit's going. Or the expectation that it's somehow up to Remainers to fix it or make it work. We voted for it, you do it. Even though you said it couldn't be done and advised in the strongest possible terms against it.

No. Your lot broke it, they're responsible for fixing it. I mean, after all that energy campaigning and going on and on, there was presumably some form of plan about how Brexit would work in practice. About how to square all the circles, the status of Northern Ireland, the future trading relationship, disentangling decades of intertwined legislation and common policies standards. Plus freedom of movement, migration, tourism. And research. In short, all those things everyone warned about.

Any plans? Any ideas? Nope, not a scooby. Just attempts to divert blame for not fixing the broken things on the people who told them not to break it in the first place. Or blaming the gym for not letting us continue to use their facilities after we cancelled our membership. And then whining that "this isn't my Brexit". Utter abdication and dereliction of duty.

On that basis, if Labour happen to win the next election will you get behind Keir Starmer?

I've never been a Labour voter so far but, with the current lot causing constant destructive chaos at the helm for so long, I'm beginning to wonder whether it's time to... 'Steer Calmer with Keir Starmer' TM

QT is set up to feature politicians. We had a Remainer parliament. So the politicians were mostly Remainers.

Non-politicians on the panel split almost exactly half and half.

I’ve provided the link literally above the sentence, though as you’ve said yourself you only get your news from one source. Dan Wootton now sacked by the Daily Mail. I have a feeling we won’t be hearing very much from him again, other than possibly in court.

Newish Pie nobody is asking Remainers to 'fix', in your words Brexit, just don't keep throwing obstacles in the way at every turn to make the divorce unnecessarily difficult. It is akin to Just Stop Oil protestors, sitting in the road preventing the traffic from flowing smoothly. It has been made public that civil servants were actually crying when they heard the Brexit result, which tells you an awful lot about these people whose job it is to work for the country and it's democracy.

It tells you that they knew it was going to be a professional, personal, and national disaster. And because they knew how much work it would be, and little planning had actually been done.

Do you have any examples of these "obstacles" placed by "Remainers". Not quite sure what you mean, especially as (post May), the Leavers have been in charge. Oven Ready Brexit! Ahem.

If the result had gone 48-52 the other way, there's not a chance that the Leave camp would have said "oh, well, that's democracy, we're now going to put all our energies into making remaining in the EU work better. We'll never mention it again, and we certainly won't be difficult or awkward."

When Farridge thought he'd lose, he was already talking up fighting on and the next campaign and muttering darkly about the deep state and votes marked in pencil being erased and how everyone should vote with a Biro, not a pencil.

Back then, Mr Farage was in full agreement with you:

"There are less than six weeks until voters go to the polls to decide whether they want the UK to stay in or leave the European Union. The question of a second referendum was raised by Mr Farage in an interview with the Mirror in which he said: "In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way."

    Hypocrite on a massive scale.
