All in, decent performance and we looked like we were trying to be more attacking even when we went a goal down. A good day at the office and hopefully we can build on that performance for next week!
Ye this is where I'm at .So happy Watt got the 2 goals but they were chances we'd expect to be taken, not tap ins but easy enough chances, especially after the 3 headed chances that Moult would have buried no probs. Literally 10 seconds before Watt scored his 1st goal I said to my mate that Watt's movement was awful and he wasn't stretching the 2 CHs enough and was just staying central and too easy to mark.

Overall a good team performance and even at a goal down I still felt confident we'd win and that confidence comes with having a very good goalkeeper,a solid defence and 2 very good and experienced central midfielders.......and Watt and Middleton actually contributing 🤐

Some boys just don't like Watt it's clear to see. He was excellent at times today, very unlucky but a bit rusty in front of goal. He has lead the line well last couple of games. Well played. Shout out to Middleton who I've rarely said a good word about he seemed to just go for it a bit more today and get himself involved more in an attacking sense. Well played.

I'm one of the "boys" who can't stand the man. However, I'm delighted if and when he scores for us. Great that the United fans have a decent win and performance at Tannadice to celebrate. Got to keep the momentum going.

    Good overall performance.

Thought TW cld have done better with at least one of his headers but overall I thought he played well and took his 2 goals well.

Middleton much improved today. Good deliveries into the box and his desire to try and make something was decent.

Thought Grimshaw was excellent and Mcmann deserved his goal today. Kept probing down left when Middleton stepped inside.

Defence was a bit slack at times but they never really looked like troubling us.

    Well done boys 🖤🧡

Well, the forthcoming game away to Raith is hopefully going to be a great away-day for the Arabs that are lucky enough to get a ticket.

Should be a great atmosphere - let's hope we come away with 3 points bagged & tagged

Thought we recovered well from the early goal.

Scott McMann played well apart from one complete brain-fart. It was nice to see just how much the goal meant to him too. Was that his first for the club?

That was Middletons best game that I can recall. My MOTM. He needs to produce that more often.
Watt did well today too and he really enjoyed getting on the scoresheet too. I am wrong to say he doubled his goal haul for the club today? Canny be far off it.

Looking forward to Raith game now.

decent result, hopefully watt and middleton will get confidence from today, I do think Middleton's been getting more involved past couple of weeks. Watts not a great finisher, but he kept getting in the positions, so fair play (Moult was prob sick watching all those chances being created). First half was fairly open, they play quite expansive football, which we won't enjoy with many opponents at Tannadice this season, I'd be slightly concerned for them playing that way for the season with their defence. Second half we took control of the game, last 15 mins game died a death a bit. Great ball from Glass for first goal, and docherty switch of play i think for third, great assists from middleton for 3 and 4.

Great result and, at last, Watt gives us something to cheer and he played well. Ok he could have done better with the early chances but it's hard to be critical of a guy who scored two goals. If he does nothing in forthcoming games except score a goal or two that's good enough for me. Middleton and McMann were excellent down left, great to see.
