We had fair warning of this style change yet failed to react or compete. Taylor has to take responsibility but many of the players are not putting it in and you wonder if the manager has lost the dressing room.
I don't think the manager has lost the dressing room! You wouldn't have had that performance on Wednesday night if he had.We aren't good enough if truth were told.In order for us to beat a team, like on Wednesday night,we seem to have to give so much physically, emotionally and mentally that we need about 10 days recovery time to have any chance of repeating what,to us,is celebrated like a 'cup win'! MT basically said that in his post match today. That is where,I'm afraid,he falls down and contradicts himself. On the one hand he proclaims to be the one that will change the mindset of the club and make it believe we belong and are good enough to be in the Champ, and then when things are going sour, constantly reminds everyone that Rotherham in the Championship will always be tough and we will always be fighting an uphill battle.Make your mind up!

The fact remains that the manager is certainly not getting the best out of the players we have in this squad.Whether it's wrong formation, lack of tactical awareness or failure to motivate these players, we are not getting the results. They just looked completely lost today and we were out fought and not able to compete with this physical side. The away form is unbelievably bad and the way we set up is never right. This was far too easy for our opponents today and we gifted the points to them.We were terrible from start to finish.I am beginning to lose faith with the management and TS will not have enjoyed seeing this.

Listening to his interview....I suspect he fears he is about to be called by TS or has already been sacked.

"Unforgiving for the players, and for unforgiving for me".

I actually liked what he said post game, could see the hurt. I'm less enraged at him having listened to it. Still, he is caught in a mess of his own making.

Other than Rathbone and Victor, no one came out of that with anything worth praising.... Possibly Kelly.

Think some fans cant get passed the ‘Rotherham way’ we’re used to seeing players get stuck in and give their all, some of these playes seem to be more laid back and look like they arent trying even though they are.
Thats not an excuse for yesterdays shower of **** though

You can see effort, or lack of it, regardless of skill level.

If a player isn't running when they should be, that's on them. If a player can't get a simple 5 yard pass correct, that's on them. If they can't be arsed leaving the pitch after being subbed.... That's on them.

It is natural that we talk about effort and outrunning teams because with our low budget those are the things that are free and what we should be doing week in week out to create a level playing field.

There is no positives to take from yesterday - They wanted it more, out played us, out run us and out fought us.

If it was a boxing match, the ref would have stopped it.

83 posts for the Coventry win. Already on nearly 80 for this defeat.
We have the cheapest squad in the league, therefore the worst. Anything less than a Coventry-esque performance and we don't even get a point. Many of our points have come via the best Keeper in the championship.
Spoke to several good mates who are honest Owls fans. No micky- taking, they actually feel genuinely sorry for us and shocked how poor we were.
We are not a good fit in this division. We're in a little pocket between the leagues with Barnsley and Wigan.
Mr Rathbone will do well to hold out on a new contact until February.
