He's not going to shoot himself in the foot Army, self preservation and all that. Though I suppose a lot of soldiers in the first war did that for self preservation, but Dyche isn't in that mould.

All managers are liars and hypocrites to a greater or lesser degree, especially over VAR and refs decisions, injuries, transfer dealing etc, it goes with the job. Seems to me Dyche is using the points deduction to create a seige mentality, us against them, it's his job to use anything he can to help his players perform. All fair enough imo, I can't knock a man for doing his job to the best of his ability.
