As for PR, there is the danger that more extreme or "populist" parties (whether right wing or left) may come to gain more seats with this system but the answer to so much of this surely lies both in encouraging more open and thoughtful debate in politics as well as trying to create a more equal society. History repeatedly shows that when growing sections of society get poorer and feel disenchanted and their voices/concerns ignored then they become ripe breeding grounds for more extremist movements.

If this election has shown us one thing it's that our politicians are incapable of open and thoughtful debate Omeg'. Not only that but neither are the factions who sought to disrupt campaigns and meetings akin to Germany in the 30s when anything is said that they don't agree with.

As stated I don't follow politics as diligently as I once did but I'll tell you a couple of things here and now. PR will be here in some form long before we have a fair and equal society. And you will never have a fair and equal society if a majority holds sway. Think pigs at the trough and Darwin.

I think they had the better campaign Thomas and their leader is a genuinely decent bloke. Glad they have a bigger voice in parliament. I do think that now the Tories have gone we should see I hope a less divisive and frankly nasty parliament, what they did to the country over the last 14 years is frankly shocking my dog could have run the county better and they took zero responsibility always blaming some external factor when they were the ones ****ing it up.. I mean Liz Truss for gods sake!!!
