4-1 and 10,046 crowd not bad for a Thursday night with the match on telly.

Stall seems to think Grimsby were no mugs, but they were the 2nd worst team away from home last season. Can't argue with 4-1 though and should put to bed any fears we are going to be in a relegation scrap, would like to see us play somebody decent before getting carried away with any promotion talk.

I think the stats will show this was a closer match than the last one, but our luck was better.

We should've won both, mind, but last match should've been a bigger margin and this a smaller. But you get that, luck fluctuates.

I'm still not sure about SM but clearly our recruitment strategy is fairly solid!

I think it’s unfair to assume Tranmere, Fleetwood and Grimsby are not going to be decent sides this year…all had decent starts and preseasons, but I know what you mean.

Glaring weakness with that looping central ball through the middle of the pitch which turns us around, same thing happened against Fleetwood on Sunday.

However, some lovely football played tonight. Crowley was everywhere but Edwards looked class.

Very good night with the result I was hoping for against a team that will struggle.

    Was very impressed with Edwards.

***** that we keep Crowley and Jones although I would trust the owners judgement if an offer came in that was really too good for the club to refuse.

Still think there is room for improvement as well.

    Onwards and upwards!

Well done SM, that's what we want to see.

Him and Saunders must be pinching themselves that they have JJ and DC playing for them. Those two were phenomenal

So much to enjoy about that tonight. Blew them away in the first 15.

Crowley was absolutely different gravy with lots of strong performances across the pitch to compliment him too. Crap goal to concede and a shaky five minutes after half time but after we weathered that it was game over. Minutes in legs too for some squad players which is ideal.

A couple of things defensively to work on, especially in the middle of the pitch when we lose the ball but let’s enjoy that tonight.

    You Pies.

Excellent performance tonight really happy just typical had to give that game ticket away from my season ticket due to it being changed to midweek and my shift falling wrong.

Crowley, Jones and in particular Edwards were awesome. Well done Notts.
