Come on let's be honest here. He's not good at Managing a side is he? Every team he's managed he's failed, some miserably.
Name alone does not make you a good Manager. Look how many top players have tried it and failed, he's now in that list. When he's sacked, which Chairman is going to take him on? Oops, wish I hadn't have said that, we all know Tony likes a seat filler
NB, Anyone heard owt from ibs of late? Seems to be quiet, I wonder why![]()

Give Rooney a break ffs!
His wife has left him 😂
What is it about Rooney that brings out the hate in people? He's gone to clubs that many of his England peers would think beneath them.
He could do the pundit round with no pressure on him. Seems a good family man.
JG, it's not the hate towards Rooney, this thread is between ibs and the attention he attracts from it. Good banter when Rooney loses as ibs has to defend his statement on 'Watch this space'.
I feel if Plymouth lose at home to a faltering Oxford on Saturday, he may well be asked to clear his desk forthwith. There is media speculation he only has two games to turn things around but, with the amount of goals his side have shipped of late, I think Saturday he may well receive an early Xmas present he doesn't want.
Other 'paper' talk is he may be bound for Everton if they remove Dyche. Come on leave it alone as if the board of Everton would put Rooney in charge with such a very poor Managerial record to date.......they wouldn't would they?
Plymouth Argyle have used a fall guy, to cover bad management.
Rooney's assistant manager Pete Shuttleworth has left the club, by mutual consent.
62 year old former assistant manager of Manchester United Mike Phelan has been
brought in, to become Rooney's assistant.
Clever management from Wayne
EFL Championship - Tuesday 10th December 2024

Wayne Rooney's management skills get another kick.
