Could it be Notts after the successful loan of George Abbott ?
Good company for George and complimenting a previous , familiar playing relationship ?
Would be a real coup if it happened

Lankshear would be an amazing signing, but as Sheffield United and Burnley are also supposedly after him on loan it's very unlikely he'd come here.

Personally i'd love to see Jack Stevens in from Solihull. Seems more of a likely signing and a long-term one too.

The Grimsby home page says that their reserves are playing a behind closed doors match against Notts today in the Central League Cup.
I wonder if any of our 3 new signings will be getting a run out.

Grimsby Town website gives a brief report of the game stating Grimsby Res won the game, played at Bottesford Town 3-0 .
No Notts line up but the report stated " a
    Youthful Notts County side."

I saw Freddie Draper play a few times for Walsall , a big physical , old fashioned style striker , who did quite well on his loan period there.
He's not been a regular with Lincoln in Lge 1
despite them struggling for goals recently.
To put this in to perspective he's not had the best of commented opinions from Lincoln fans either.
Maybe Joe Gardner from over the river would suit Notts playing style ?

A National League club offered ?30 k pre season and Lincoln City were very interested pre season too but we're quoted twice what Notts have reputedly offered.
Ilkeston aren't desperate for cash and won't consider offers less than the Lincoln City quotation.
