Excellent news! Sorry to have lost Alex but this transfer window may yet prove to be one of our better ones

    Good news indeed.
The loss of Palmer, will hopefully provide a great opportunity and motivation for Griffiths to cement his place.

I was just thinking pretty much the same....not a bad window. At least we brought in some youth so the average age should come down a bit. Over all not to bad.

A good window in all given the news yesterday that Tom Fellows was on the way out. I guessed we have to accepted he will go in the summer.

I would imagine that he will stay were we to win the playoffs.

I must admit that a few weeks ago, I was of the same opinion as you in thinking that we will stay in the Championship at the end of this season. However, after a few decent results and getting a few decent youthful players in this window, I am more positive about our chances of going up. On the basis of Leeds and Sheffield United getting the automatic spots, I think we can hold our own against Burnley and Sunderland who will most likely fill the 3rd and 4th spots. Before you say it, no I haven't borrowed Boingy's glasses, I am quite optimistic currently.

Nothing wrong with that either. Optimist are better people to be around then pessimists.
Aim for the stars.....reminds me of that great saying..."Two men sat behind prison bars, One saw mud the other saw stars."
    Bring that with me everywhere...
