So, do we reckon Shinnie's autumn seasons are to be spent playing left back again?

Because of the temptation of Jute Inc. to revert to its traditional blanket defence in the second half, Shinnie was practically playing in the blessed Bumper role. He did very well.

Really pleased to see Kevin Nisbett get his two goals , you have seen his confidence starting to return over last few games and today will do him the world of good going forward
Im starting to go along with the idea of making Nisbet a permanent signing in the summer, especially if he continues his recent form.

It just seems like he has finally settled into the role that Thelin wants him to play, if his confidence continues to return he could be a good player for us,

I think he likes the subs in at halftime for the team talk so they know what they are doing in the second half if they come on.

If players come out early to warm up then you know are coming on straight away.
    Has it?

I usually saw the players over beside the RDS kicking the ball about.

Maybe you are right and only noticed as was on my own today and not yapping or checking half time scores.

Maybe it wasnt at the start of the season but it?s been happening for a while.

We are sitting in the lower deck and noticed it as far back as the Dundee game in November.

Shinnie, Morris and Clarkson impacted that game very well when they came on.
Dorrington did not do much wrong either when he was introduced, hope it's nothing too serious with Tobers.
Only sub that was a bit meh was Dabbagh (bad day at the office for him) will give him the benefit of the doubt for now still a bit early and the jury is still out.

But two players who I have seen enough of are Okkels who brings the square root of sweet fk all to any game, and Pape Gueye who will simply never be a football player and just runs around.
Would n ot lose any sleep if these two never were a dons shirt ever again

Okkels I can only assume has something to offer as Jimmy clearly rates him. It is possibly just taking time to get up to speed with the game and gaining his fitness. He and MacKenzie just don't gel either on the left and we then put Topi on the right to accommodate him, which just doesn't suit him or the team best. Whatever it is Jimmy sees in him, I would have doubts about making it a permanent deal for a reported ?1 million.

Pape G did do something of note yesterday. He put Gallagher out of the game with his Salmon like leap for the ball in the first half that saw Gallagher go down injured about three times afterwards and was the reason for so much added time in the first half.
He will continue to show flashes of brilliance and actual WTF moments, but he is worse than a man down when in the form he showed yesterday.

Wide players when theyre having a stinker tend to stand out more. We have more pressing issues to fix first imo

Can't agree with that min. When we are attacking, like we did in the second half, we are a far better team, especially when we work the wings well.

If we can get our front/wide players right we look a far better team all over the park. Just my opinion though.

The goals were conceding are horrific. You expect the odd brain fart but most of them are because of the way we set up. We would be leaking goals just now even if we had prime Miller & McLeish

That needs sorting before we address the showbiz end of the pitch.
