4-3-3, solid at the back / midfield. Pace and guile upfront. Change to 4-2-3-1 when we need to. Play them off the park and hopefully the ref doesn’t allow so much sh*t-housery as last Sat and allows us to play football not wrestling.

    Bass
    Macari, Platt, McDonald, Bedeau
Abbott, Palmer, Robertson (if fit enough to start).
    Jones, Whitaker, Jarvis.

    to

    Bass
    Macari, Platt, McDonald, Bedeau
    Abbott, Palmer
    Jones, Whitaker, Jarvis
    Morias / Traore

    Bench
    Miller
Ness (is he fit?) or Gordon
    Hinchy
    Austin
    Grant
    Traore
    Morias

(Where’s Tsaroulla? Still sick / recovering from op?).

    Here's one..
Bedeau keeps talking about his 2 goals, the run-in pivoted against us when he hit that post. Here's the chance to put it right. It also defuses the downward spiralling rivalry for RCB and gets McDonald on his correct side

    ..............Bass
    ....Macari..Platt...McDonald
    Jones..Abbott..Palmer...Bedeau
    ..Whitaker..Traore..Jarvis

We'll have nothing in the air against them without Didzy and Jatta, so we need to play to our strengths. Our two most dangerous players now are Jones and Jarvis. Get them on the ball in areas where they can do damage - i.e. as genuine wingers/inverted wingers, not wingbacks.

With both Jatta and Didzy out apart from their obvious goal threat we will miss them defensivly at set pieces it leaves us
with only Platt , Bedeau and McDonald with any heading ability and we saw how they take players out with their holding
and shirt pulling in the first leg

    This could work.
Baldwin scored his first 2 goals for Notts in a playoff semi final I seem to remember.
Also gets another big man on to cover for the loss of Jatta in defensive situations.

Good point. Yeah, unexpected players can come up big when things get desperate.

You'd hesitate though because he's played there once or twice before and did poorly. Each game is different though and this could be the moment. If Chicksen can get 11 goals from there, Bedeau can score too.

I think Grant would have to be in there somehow. He was in the right places at the right times and it took 2 outstanding saves and a brilliant clearance to stop him scoring.
The bench is going to look very thin with probably very few gamechangers on it.
