Think I’ve got another six or seven years on the current European one. Couldn’t care less about the colour tbh...just like to go back to the pre Brexit days of queue free travel within the EU.

your memory is selective rA, it was 911 that prompted the step change in security that lengthened airport queues

Agree with Swale and Andy that P&O will just take the costs, but as Andy said, we don't really know the details, all we know is that there is some ethical malpractice.
What makes you think the EU workforce is cheaper? I know that one of the big lies of vote leave was that EU workers were bringing wages down, but all the research showed that in fact that wasn't the case. The fact is EU law has better employment protections built in, the Uk has left and we don't have that and theres more to come, deregulation and getting rid of red tape sounds wonderful, until you realise that "red tape" protects peoples living standards!

We'll you seem a bit more knowledgeable than me on the employment law stuff so I won't argue the point. I'd say I hope P&O get what's coming to them, but I understand that they are responsible for a lot of our freight, so we'd only suffer for it

I'm certain other companies will fill the breach, seeing as P & O aren't operating for 10 days or so. Its the lorry traffic they carry but there are other routes and logistics firms will be using them now.

Ironic that on the day taxes are raised to pay for the NHS, Brexit which if you recall was supposed to raise £350 million a week for the NHS is actually losing the UK over £400 million per week!

MMMMMMMMMMM, that £350 M a week is being spent on hotels for illegals, because they are too scared to ditch the ECHR.

That £350M a week was only ever an example. It was never the promise millions took it to be and caused them to vote Leave.......

Of course not. I mean...having it emblazoned all over the side of Johnson’s ‘battle bus’ as an iconic emblem of the ‘Vote Leave’ campaign...who could possibly have thought otherwise?
It’s a little like promising that the negotiations would be amongst the ‘easiest ever’ and that...of course there’s going to be no problem with the NI border. Remember those two?
