    Hmm. 🤔
Well, it appears if you manage to gather in sufficiently high numbers nothing gets done about it. So, calling this a relaxation of the rules is a bit of a stretch.

Great to hear all the first timers getting their jab, and even better for those getting their second.

Im sure you all know that the figures reported are a mix of figures from yesterday at the main vaccination centres, and doctors surgeries for the previous day, so its not beyond the realms of possibility that sometime on Tuesday, that the 40% mark was reached for people receiving their first dose of the vaccine!

Only one significant area of Cohort progress to report.

    Available vaccinations data by Cohort.
Cohort 1.1 Dose 1, Older residents in care homes - estimate exceeded,
Cohort 1.1 Dose 2, 64% (61) Older residents in care homes

Within the above, dose 1 estimate exceeded, 60% (57) dose 2 of adults, and 88% of staff in all care homes have also been vaccinated.

Cohort 1.1 Dose 1, Older residents in care homes - estimate exceeded,
Cohort 1.1 Dose 2, 66% (64) Older residents in care homes

Negative – This weeks cases/7 days is similar to last week.

Positive – 5 areas recorded ZERO new infections yesterday, and a further 9 recorded single figures.
    24 areas 7 day cases/100k are below 75(old level 2 top limit?)

Big positive, 40% has been passed!

And a BIG IF! IF we manage to ramp up the vaccine programme again next week, there is a chance that we can pass 2m first doses! It cannot be missed though that the 2m figure of first and second doses might have been passed today but will be passed tomorrow! I can even see the halfway mark for first doses before the end of the month.

Sorry bud, i think that is here to stay for the foreseeable future as it is one tool that does work.

Think i did see yesterday that the Pfizer jab has been proved to be effective against the Brazil variant, so fingers crossed that i am wrong about the above.
