    What an ignorant post. The guy's busting a gut to get himself back to full fitness and looking to get a run in a bounce game very soon.

    Maybe we should have binned the likes of Darren Jackson and Jon Daly when they picked up injuries early on in their United careers.

    In my line of work, i have to agree with you that injured for a year usually means bye, bye! I might be minded to think in your line of work that the money dries up very quick if injury keeps you from your next rotation.

    However, football is different, and even with my own injury expectations in mind, i think footballers on their short careers, even Lewis Toshney, should be given every chance to recover from serious injuries sustained while playing for whatever club.

    The point is we have Smith, we've now got a RB on trial, so someone please argue why it doesn't look like the guy who's been out for over a year is on his way out the door?

    Dont see this as ignorance or lack of empathy, one RB out for over a year and we bring in one on trial
