It's for idiots that break the rules[you know, those with no common sense] that the gov't do need to lay down the law
Yet it would seem that you want Khan to provide more support .How would you suggest he does that? perhaps by telling everyone what they should do[can't stand the prat btw] but wanted to point out your hypocrisy

Mail on Line is the answer
The problem is Exile, the plonkers will always be plonkers, ergo it doesn’t matter what you tell them they will always ignore the advice, laws and common sense.

no it doesn't - there are things in there of value if you spend more time engaging instead of breaking lockdown guidance - the government needs our help, and you think you're above it. Nothing to do with North Korea - being asked to stay inside and limit activity is hardly a big ask, is it?

Suppose everyone who doesn't has a valid excuse then...

It's only a bit of flu, as one luminary on here claimed. I have never experienced pubs being shut in my lifetime for a bit of flu.

By your own admission you broke the lockdown rules for exercise on more than once a day [how many 3 or4 ]
Thats your idea of common sense but another plonker might say 5 or 6 is ok & will always try to justify their actions & not just on exercise
That's why it's important for us all to have some discipline instilled by those who govern us

The death rate for flu is 0.1%, estimates for Covid-19 range from 0.3% to 1.7% so it's more severe than flu but not as severe as MERs or SARS or even more severe viruses like Nipah, Marburg and Ebola and people under 50 only face a small threat, driving is more dangerous in comparison.

And you shouldn't really downplay the risk of flu because Spanish Flu killed 50 million people.

It puts me in mind of those rules that were laid down in the 2nd WW
Common sense not to show a light when the blackout was on but
wardens were employed to ensure compliance with fines for those plonkers who didn't
I think it was the same for not carrying a gas mask

Wear a mask if you can’t keep the acquired distance was advised.

The tube was always going to be a problem so it should be compulsory to wear one or not allowed on.

People also need to take some responsibility for themselves, if I needed to get on the tube then I’d definitely be protected.

If you don’t want to protect yourself then stop moaning.

This board is playing up again. 😡

There are problems with masks as well though.

If you wear glasses then they will steam up unless you wear the ones with a filter, which the government says should be reserved for frontline staff.

And they quickly get wet and become breeding grounds for bacteria themselves, so they're not really suitable for long-term use.

Journeys on public transport I can see the benefits though.

you always know you are on to a winner when other posters, deliberately misquote you. Why tell lies to win an argument?

I do agree with the Tubes though, its about time Khan got his finger out and provided more support for TFL
Not really sure how this addresses my post. Just about all of the tube/bus commuters in central London were wearing masks. For most, the instruction to go back to work today has left them with no choice but to use public transport as many, particularly low paid, don't have cars and bikes in London are dangerous if you can ride one. What do you say to a worker in East London who has to clock in to work on the other side of the river?
