Sorry GB, I've neither the time nor the inclination to go trawling through a backlog of posts to prove a point. But our director of football has come in for some real nasty comments and plenty of chat about the club only looking to rear and sell with little thought for the consequences. He works for Mark Ogren so by reason of deduction this must also be his mandate right?

Not 100% sure mate but from what I understand their job is to feed detail into the manager. I've been told a few times now that MM didnt entertain any of it. Whether that was the correct thing to do? That is up for debate.

I think part of the problem as I said in my reply to GB is that he ignored it all.

When I used the term happy clapper in a previous post it was about posters on here who have said don't worry everything will be fine because we'll get the players we need. Nothing more nothing less. If you got offended by that maybe the internet isn't for you. No, I don't suggest you leave, but maybe have a little more understanding for people who are concerned about our lack of signings so far.

Our wage bill is/was 120%, weve got too many players, and weve handed out extensions to Pawlett Connolly and Clark and we have more coaches than Williamson's.
The next thing is we're being told we can't afford Doyle Hayes.

Feel free to argue your position that everything is fine. Do you think things are fine? I'd be interested in your views and especially a firm prediction on where we will finish the season based on the current squad. Hopefully you're up for it.

Agree with plenty in there mate but JDH was us not willing to meet his demands as opposed to couldn't afford.

And that is why he was sacked (allegedly).

I'm guessing not buying into the philosophy of the club was part of the conversation.

It's this philosophy of the club that I can't buy into either if I'm being honest. It's a lot of Americanised claptrap, it's like Fat Tony has watched the film Moneyball and thought what a great idea but 1st we need to get rid of this wee upstart.......
