I know not many people agree with me that there's a possibility we will end up at tannadice but surely the the thought has entered a few more folks heads.

I think nelms has grossly underestimated how long it takes to get anything done in this country.....we are two steps back from where we were 2months ago.
At a Dee4life board of directors meeting where I was present as a non voting guest Bob Hynd told us that John Nelms thought that local authorities in the UK contributed 50% of the cost of building a new sports (football) stadium because that is what happens in America.
Nelms should have done his homework before persuading Tim Keyes to handover ?1,296,000 to Vico Camperdown Limited for the 29.7 acres site in the former NCR Camperdown playing fields on 8th July 2016.
    Yet another shambles by Nelms.

The dafties who say we should go out of the game rather than play at Tannadice are the same dafties who say electric cars will never take off or they'll never stop smoking in pubs.

I am surprised that the latest design of Nelms’s new stadium has not been published on the Club website to humour the Dundee FC supporters who think that Nelms is the new messiah.

DCTs at last calling out the council for their obstructionism regarding the proposed new stadium and the training facility. Finan calling the delays and small mindedness of the council inexcusable. Personally I would rather stay at Dens, I don't think it will see the light of day and the council's dithering and obstruction is only made worse by the nimbyism of the local residents especially with the training facility. In saying all that there is a part of me actually wants the planning agreed for both ventures to firstly see if Keyes/Nelms can actually get the funding together and get the thing built and secondly to get one over on the pathetic, partisan DAB, borderline corrupt council. I would hate to end up with those w⚓s winning and growing over it as infinitum.

Yes. Surprised by the tone of and the target of the article. Think it will be interesting to see what happens. Can't complain if the planning application is not even on the agenda, imo, but can ask why it has not been included. If the reason is official obstruction then questions need to be answered by the officials. Their answers might show that we had not supplied answers, and the inference would be that the ball was in our court.

It's not DAB DCT having a go.....it's Finnan because he intends to stand for election.....nothing against article but it's no really for the benefit of DFC......dabs don't do anything for the benefit of DFC.

A poster on the DBF posted the details of the Finan article and in my opinion Finan has made a huge mistake in his article.
He states that the planning application was submitted to Dundee City Council in February 2024 and the council have no excuse for not voting on this application at their meeting on 11th August 2025.
If Finan had done his homework before publishing his article he would have quickly realised that the planning application has changed since February 2024 with the new stadium car parks now only containing VIPs , staff, directors and players vehicles before home games. The visiting supporters buses are now being situated in West Liff Road with all other spectators attending home games having to find a parking place for their vehicles in the surrounding streets.
