Don't know if there's still panic buying going on or not.

I don’t know how they can still be panic buying tbh, haven’t they already stocked up or have they had to throw their out of date food away?

We came back off holiday last Friday.
Ventured out yesterday ( Monday ) to do basic shopping. Aldi had notices up saying restrictions on fruit and veg didn't now apply, plenty on the shelves.
Enough milk, shortage of bog rolls so will have to use rileys rotherham record newspaper lol.

Keep safe everyone, staying in for quite a while, plenty of jobs to do in the garage and garden.

Edit - A friend of ours works for an electrical retailer, one that's closed, she says people over the last two weeks have been buying up all the freezers.

Well I haven't got into the panic buying at all its nuts. Looking in my fridge/freezer and cupboards we'll be okay for at least a month and I reckon most households would be the same. Yes, won't be eating steak every few days but in terms of knocking 2 meals a day up excluding breakfast we'd easily be okay for a month if I didn't use a shop/supermarket. Got 8 bog rolls but plenty of Rotherham Records if we run out lol.

Weatherspoons boss after initially saying that closing pubs was an overreaction has now advised his staff to get a job at Tesco.

The more we do in following the instructions of staying inside gives the medics a better chance of a lesser workload. They deserve it,after all we are only asked to keep ourselves to ourselves, they have got to deal with it all and seeing pictures of Spain,Italy and France,we are next.So don't blow it all,DO AS YOU'RE TOLD.

As the message I've seen from medical staff says:

"I stay at work for you. Please stay at home for me!"

I’ve just watched the press conference.

Last night it was STAY AT HOME. Today we see that it’s ok to go to work as long as you keep 2 metres apart. Is that before or after you sanitise the door handle after someone has used it? Oops put my hand in something. You can work two yards from your co worker but you can’t see your expendable older parents.

And this piece of wisdom.....on the underground there are enough trains so keep 2 metres apart there too!! On that basis they have got the wrong person to oversee it? apparently his last job was in a sardine packing factory....mind the gap.

They will make a film out of this one day - it’s called “They were Expendable”

Seriously it is no laughing matter. Absolutely disgraceful leadership.
Your feeble words with open ended meanings has lead to total confusion. People need TELLING and without ambiguity. There are mixed messages no leadership.
Disgusted. Many people are dying and it will increase dramatically and they don’t care. Hey ho. It’s just statistics to them.
