He could be on 4k we could offer 5k, fact is no one knows so the chance to play regular football with a new 2 year contract could still happen.

Aye, just seen this. All I know is what I was told but we'd enquired as had a few other league one teams.

LB we were looking at was an ex Luton guy if I recall correctly.

I posted before about left back Lewis Page, regarding he turned down a new contract
at division 2 side Exeter City, saying he wanted to play with a club in division 1.
Things have not turned out has he wanted, he has just signed for another club, be it
division 2 side Harrogate town.
town also sign defender Nathan Sheron.

Been looking at Charlton Athletic accounts 2019/20
It reported Charlton Athletic first team players average wages was £5,700 compared to
championship average wages of £15,000.
