He also mentioned that the midfielder we got gazumped on, was a Southampton player, who, if I heard correctly, went to Stoke instead.

I think that article explains exactly why we have gone for him, based on PW previous comments. Experienced championship player, a leader, someone with a point to prove a player when playing at his best will improve the existing squad. Now lets get in Lewis Grabbon and show our intent ;o)

Much as we all love brecks sometimes he can get it wrong. The club will have good reason not to have put it out yet. If it falls thru dont blame the club.
