You know you’re getting old when you’re seeing the kids of former Notts players/managers score for England.

Jesse Derry is Shaun’s son - he plays for Crystal Palace and scored the equaliser in England U19s’ 5-5 draw with Germany. Worth a look?

Matt Hamshaw is the Rotherham UTD manager. That totally passed me by. Didn't even recognise him.

Interesting. Even after a narrow play-off final loss, they make a shift to a Head Coach structure. And the first thing Selles says is...

'We need to embrace new data and technologies''

after that comes ''but the most important thing is not to forget the football essence. The fans can expect a team which is not going to wait or be reactive, we will be proactive, we are going to go and try and be as competitive as we can in every single game"

Easier said than done as we know, but at least their starting point is very competitive in tier 2, so the approach has a good chance

Possibly but Wilder is a very good bet in the championship his record shows that.

Selles has done nothing as a manager and he is going to be under huge pressure.

I don't think the headline is Wilder v Selles. It's that the Blades have chosen a very different way to run a football club - the same one we have.
