Amazing that a story in the Sun - yes, the Sun - that reports on a Villa scout attending a match and extrapolates from that that they'll bid for our player (despite the fact they seem keen to keep the keeper they already have on loan from Man U) grows arms and legs to the extent where people are genuinely fretting that Celtic will poach him in January.

Gordon at Celtic falling out of favour, it would not surprise me in the slightest if Celtic declare interest. Better keeper, unsettle nearest rivals, deal bargaining with others players....makes sense.

Some of the saves Gordon’s pulled off this season have been outstanding but his decision making is gash. I hope we fire in balls between him and the overrated centre backs on Wednesday
