Unfortunately it looks like the Maybot is going to win. Although it is a secret ballot so you never know. It wouldn't be the first time MPs have lied about something.

I think she will win the vote convincingly. That said, her brexit plan wont pass in parliament as the DUP wont back her on the backstop issue and they may pull out of the coalition anyway, triggering another GE.

Its a shambles, but its one that wont go away.

So she won her wee vote, nae shock there. 200 ayes and 117 nits. Quite a high amount of no's though, over a 1/3 of her own party want her binned. Nae a fecking chance she will get her brexit ****e through.

A dreadful result for any prime minister, under normal circumstances.

With this f'uckin idiot of course, she will see it as a victory.

    Now over to the DUP

Just as an aside, I heard a tory mp on the radio last week saying that he thought the DUP were bluffing.

I don't think the DUP would even understand the concept of bluffing.

May actively campaigned against Brexit, so it's no surprise she (and whoever is pulling her strings) are trying to sabotage it.

Staying in the EU is daft, unless you are a globalist who wants to hand over national sovereignty to Germany, sorry EU.

Britain should have taken the reigns from the start and set a strict 6 month deadline for the EU to agree a deal and put the onus on them. The EU are bricking it that once they lose Britain and realise they're able to take back control over their economy, most other members would realise the experiment is done.

If they don't leave now, they're signing up to years and years of polarisation and economic stagnation.

Indeed. Because there's no research that would make you come to those conclusions. Nobody, not even the most Brexity of Brexiteers has yet been aboe to point to a single advantage to leaving the EU, except vague terms like "taking back control of our borders (we already do this), make our own laws (we do this), etc.
