Teams struggling and fighting at the foot of the table are just as stubborn as teams fighting for places at the top. We are not a easy team to beat or break down, well not as easy as some think, we all agreed there was going to be "blips" let's hope?!! we have gone or getting over ours. Albion won't be looking forward to coming to ER. I recon we will surprise a few tonight.

Just in from a night out on the town, very unusual for me but should do it more often perhaps if this happens.

Andy you did say this might happen in our telephone conversation, can you predict anything else so well?

Big day matey for you - good luck for Monday

Just watched the highlights - fantastic to see, no goals conceded, no cards issued and four great goals - 11 games to go, lets do the same to Sheffield please

In the cold light of morning, and without wanting to be a doom monger, (I enjoyed that as much as anyone, and am still feeling the effects of my celebrations this morning........), but in some ways it just cranks up the expectation based tension. The last time we played that well, against Derby, we then went to Stoke and played sh1te. If we see a similar performance to last night next Saturday against Bristol then fantastic, last night's result really means something beyond just an outstanding performance in isolation. If on the other hand it's another Stoke, or QPR, then nothing's really changed in terms of the outlook for the rest of the season.

Fair comment. If we want to go up auto, then we really need that similar effort in all remaining games. The way they bounced back in this game...I just can't help thinking now that they went in half-hearted against QPR. Believing with their recent poor form, it was just going to fall on a platter for us. A little overconfident perhaps. You simply can't expect that in this league. But there was nowhere near the same intensity as last night was there?

I wonder, do you think players were told to hold back a bit. or thought it was a good idea in the QPR game in the believe it was a walk in the park and save themselves for last night????????

Not sure what it was on Monday. Everything was just not quite right. Commentator last night noticed Bamford’s work rate and noted he normally plays in a more languid style - new systems and ways of playing take time to embed I guess.

Roberts was a revelation compared to Tues.

lets see how the other results go over the weekend.

I'd be very surprised if they were told to hold back mate. Think it was just their own mindset on what they thought they needed to do to grab the points. And naturally with the WBA game in their thoughts as well.
