Yes if there’s any self employed that are now out of work then get yourselves to the supermarkets for jobs.

Now that the nightclubs and boozers have been forced to shut they should employ the bouncers in supermarkets with full permission to kick the crap out of anyone panic buying.

It is utterly pathetic how weak and selfish we have become as a nation.

It’s totally ****ed me off to be honest.

I’ve got my dad who is in his late seventies being treated for cancer and my Mum has been trailing round shops trying to buy basics.

If my dad gets Coronavirus it will kill him he is worried sick about it.

I’ve now banned my mum from leaving the house and am trying to do the shopping for them.

I have had a great morning driving round South Yorkshire to get what they need and not copious amounts of them, increasing my risk of getting Coronavirus but I’m not letting them suffer due to the selfish actions of others.

To all you selfish pricks with your stockpiles I hope you choke on them you ****ers

The media have to take some responsibility.
Perpetually showing empty shelves where toilet rolls and pasta should have been started the ball rolling. It was on every news bulletin for about a week and then a lot of people joined in. I still can't fathom why people just chose those two items.

Then the footage moved to empty shelves of fruit and veg and then there was panic. Pack mentality and simulating what other people were doing

At that point we even decided that we needed to get some food. Not panic buying but to making sure we had a few days worth of food to eat. Our cupboards and fridge have things in them that no one else wanted and kindly left after the siege

Wainwright’s on A57 at the BP garage seem to be stocked up well but obviously bread and milk might be sparse
Obviously you don’t want to be running around, supermarkets are being stocked daily so try and get in early

Hopwells at Orgreave cl Sheffield who do largely frozen food with some fresh open to public on Monday from 8:30 if that helps, not sure if it’s a one off.

I agree it’s media partly to blame, showing an empty shelf but didn’t bother showing it when it was stocked up again which was probably later in the day the morons
