Well that's our 5 tough games come & gone and we've ended up with just the one expected defeat at Celtic. Three draws, two of them in away games v 3rd & 4th in the league and a win v Killie at home. Ok, flying by the seat of our pants in all 5 (maybe less so today?) but nevertheless.....
So now it's 5 games v teams below us & I ain't predicting nothing, this season's so weird it's just not real. All teams have had the collywobbles.
In one of these games to come we might just find our best eleven.

Would have taken a point before the game today but I think it was a missed opportunity in the 2nd half. I was expecting McMullen or Bolton to come on and try to win the game. It was made for a player like McMullen in the last 20 minutes.

Yes, I'm not a fan, but he had a good game today.

Maybe but it all depends which McMullan decides to turn up.

Absolutely! And Livingstone are suddenly turning out top-three form!

That was a point well won for us today.

To lose Fuchs, just beginning to show us how good he is, Butcher and McNulty to injury and still go up there an get a point is good work.

Wullie Miller was saying on Sportsound he totally understands why MM is playing the side the way he is. Survival is everything.

One thing I want to say about our team is that their fitness and stamina is notable. Better than most in the league, and second to none.

I've noticed that MM uses this advantage well, mostly to earn us a draw from a defeat situation.

Once MM gets the players in that he needs, I think we'll see a much more positive United in terms of attacking the opposition.

But, in the meantime I am totally behind MM. I'm kinda developing a taste for this style of play. Inviting on the opposition, sucking the life out of them and hitting them late on. It's an acquired taste I grant you.

Anyhow - let's hope for a great new year for all of us and our team.

I think the bottom six is gonna be really cutthroat after the break. So tight that anyone could go down. Let's hope we can get into the top six.

Great point gained, but i felt we should have taken all 3 if we had 2 better players on the park rather than Harkes and Pawlett. Dont understand why Powers started on the bench, but i feel that Clark did quite well considering that is not what his game is about.

I note the comments regarding fitness, but i felt we were more leggy at the end than Aberdeen, but was it only one subbie we made?

Yes one sub. Obviously MM liked what he saw or at least didn’t want to disturb things late on.

There was a good return from our 5 tough matches as said above.

Against Killie we were quite comfortable

Hope fully a bit more attacking and we can record wins in the upcoming matches this month 😊🤞

I’m fully behind Micky and the players. They have done great with everything had to deal with this season

That was our fifth 0-0 in the league this season but the best one by far, even the dyed in the wool sheepster Willie Miller admitted that Shankland was the only player on the park who looked likely to score.
Hearing that Powers had an influence on proceedings when he got on the pitch and helped us to a better 2nd half performance. That is definitely a point gained today.
