I'm now thinking sell Benji for maximum amount and invest at least a few hundred thousand on reinforcements. Even then, time not on our side this window.

His omission tonight might mean he's away already and our financial plight might dictate that he's/he'll go for much less than he's worth.

I said weeks ago that Siegrist had to be sold this window. We’ve a perfectly capable replacement (who was not at fault for anything tonight despite the scoreline) and the money was/is desperately needed for other areas of the park. I do wonder though what game MM is watching at times. Robson for instance was having an absolute shocker (summed up perfectly with his farcical foul throw) and needed subbed for Sporle pronto. Bad, bad, bad night at the office. We need a reaction on Saturday alright. Big style.

It’s not good. I can only think it’s back to 5 at the back with Edwards there for his height on Saturday.

Priority is getting enough points for safety between now and end of season

Disappointing that now St Mirren more likely to be top 6 than us

I freely admit my favourite days on this board are any when we are not playing. Its like i said at the start of this thread,"Do we really have to discuss the football?."
I am not saying that in hindsight either i have said it since our first game of the season,i have not enjoyed much of what's been on offer and i can't remember one occasion where i could not wait for the game to come round.

Back to 5 at the back again and fight on for the remainder of the season.
He never said he was............ (NC) Do agree tho, playing him there is a waste of a shirt. He also must be furious at getting played in wrong positions/formations.

Don't like picking on players , but................. Robson??? FFS ... he has to go. How many, Headers (targeted tonight) positional sense (nane) Pace against flyers (nane) Going forward, reasonable. Delivery , questionable.

I preferred him when he was black, at least he seemed focused.
Apologies to the snowflakes in advance.

Im struggling to remember who actually did play in midfield tonight because they were that anonymous! Im struggling to see what the benefit was in hooking Powers for Fotheringham, unless it was an injury, as despite his inability to turn quick enough, Powers passes were finding their targets.

This shoehorning the 3 amigos into the attack really needs put to bed though! Shankland and Clark were trying to hard to show off with their quick passes, which just made them look like kids in the park thinking they are world beaters!

    But loosing 5 to them!

first 3 goals from being unable deal with set pieces into the box, the last two a couple of passes and a bit of pace in behind. Most even the rank teams in this league have a bit of pace or strength up top to get in the ball in the mix and get their opponents on the back foot, with players we have we don't have any of these basic options, so have to persist with same passing style, which isn't a problem if you are a top passing team, and we aren't even good at passing, which makes us carry so little threat, we went all out for out today 2nd half and had i think 3 attempts on goal.
