Massive result today. The lads were brimming with confidence from kick off. What a difference it makes. That guarantees our safety from automatic relegation imo.

Well done United! Game superbly managed by manager and the players on the park. Excellent 3 points.

I'm sure there was a Tranmere fan posted here early on in the season and the poster said something along these lines 'watch out for Micky Mellon's sides post new-year, his teams seem to click and they finish strongly'.

Does anyone else remember that post?

At last a performance to be satisfied with. Looked good today & always looked capable of getting a goal. Hopefully a corner turned & a balance being struck in terms of set up & game plan. Well done United.

Much more fight today not second to every ball for a change, a special mention for Harkes not just his pass for Shanks goal which was inch perfect but his overall contribution, onwards and upwards.

Indeed mate. Five games without a goal with two trips to Celtic Park in the next three weeks. Its a shame its so long until we play them.

I concur peter. The fact you’ve managed to extend your remarkable unbeaten run by another two weeks I would agree now makes you safe in the Division.
