Give him a break Brian. peter is simply giddy with excitement following Friday’s electric win over part time Alloa which has catapulted the mighty Dee to the heady heights of fourth in the Championship.

Was it the Dees and Queens Park that were called the ancient firm just prior to the Great War in 1914?.

I was surprised when I looked at the table they'd scored 32 given how bad their current run is, still more than us btw, we've ended up the second lowest scorers before the split after Ross County.

Yeah, I agree with this. I thought he was poor at the start of the match but he got better as the game went on and caused the sheep backline all sorts of problems.

I think tactically MM got it spot on. We high pressed them the whole game without too much worry about them scoring. They really are toothless up front.

Think Jamie Robson deserves a lot of credit for how he is adapting to his first season in the top flight, let's remember he came through during a bad period for us in a position we had got used to having very good players in (Kalvenes, Dixon, Douglas, Robertson, Townsend) yet as a young player he has had his moments but generally shown a good attitude to improve and keep his place over a few turbulent years

In fact not long turned 23 with lots of years ahead to improve more at this level he has already accumulated 160 appearances for us at his age (the most in the squad), excellent really, only 74 players in our history have played more games for us, we absolutely should be looking to kero him long term, imo

Only reason he's had so many appearances is that he's had no one pushing his position

Aberdeen have treated trips to dundee as a joke in our absence as they have no rivalry with the fun and just turn up and win at will over the road with 7 wins in a row and 18 goals scored when we were away

Now we are back to fill that void for the sheepies, and remind them they won't be getting it so easy any longer, good to get the better of the head to head first year back
