Well what a shock! Yet again the MM team to follow crumble under the pressure of that moniker as York City lose at home to the lower league opposition of Buxton. Could allegiances be split if our name is drawn out to visit the heady heights of Silverlands in Monday's draw?

Sunderland 0-1 Mansfield but Grigg scores. Hope that doesn't lead anywhere.

You mean Buxton to the break the jinx in Round 2? They certainly didn't today as York were our team.

Only just noticed reading this thread today York were the MM team"up for the cup"
(Is that better or worse than not reading your opening post of a post match thread Cam ? &#128521

And now it's Buxton a team with a few fairly recent Millers connections.
If I remember correctly they even had an away shirt of red body/white sleeves under one of them. No idea if it was coincidence or not.
Also happens to be the closest I've ever lived to a league football ground about 10.minute walk to Silverlands (up hill of course lol)

Don't tell Gru but they had very interesting preparation for arguably their biggest game in years ( first time in Fa Cup first round proper for just over 60 years).

They sacked there management team on Monday for some sort of holiday misdemeanour.

Good man Magyar. I'll be posting a new Pop Quiz soon though and fully expect you to get the answers without reading the clues

Yes, quite a few links between RUFC and Buxton so a trip up their mountain would be a good game in round 2 (Except for Grist of course unless they have a chair lift ).
