Why let the truth get in the way of a good story though

Not wanting to get into any arguments but sure seen in this thread people saying they did not want to pay more than £20.Had a quick look back and retired arab said £30 was too much twenty was plenty.cybershed said twenty is plenty sounds like a good campainggn and he had his backing. As have said do not want to get into any arguments about this if people don't want to pay the extra couple of quid then they should not bother I will keep my opinion to myself from here though not to upset any long time posters.

i think there is a difference between what people think it should be and what they are willing to pay. Lets be honest, the standard of our squad, the quality of performances on the pitch and the quality of the opposition we play against isn't really worth more than 20quid. That being said people would probably not be too bothered with it being 22-24..... but now being 50% above what it really should be people are rightly pee'd off.

FWIW who we are playing is irrelevant to me, whether its a derby, a game vs the OF or Tuesday night at home in the winter to Ross County its still the same players on the pitch and there is a limit to how much i would pay to watch them. Looking at the prices for this season I seriously doubt I will go to any match unless they have a rethink, didnt renew season ticket as it was horrendous to watch last season, didnt pay for the Hearts game and wont be paying for Dundee game with those prices. Only way i along with a few others i know will be going back is if they put out a price which is worth it for the players on the pitch. If they want fans to pay 30 quid a game, then go sign some players which are worth paying that to watch!

Sorry mate but really can't debate it with you am not really allowed to disagree with long term posters or what the mods think will just get banned again so will just say you have valid points and really is up to everyone how much they are willing to pay for any service.I also wish utd were much better but will support them anyway but not trying to say you or ur mates should hopefully they get better over next couple of seasons and you will start coming back.

They dont need to get better for me to go back.... thats glory hunteresque if I did that..... Just charge the right price to watch the standard we are putting on the park. Right now i wouldnt pay what we are asking for, hence why even after a decent finishing position in the league last year i wasnt going to pay to watch the standard of football we were playing since most games i ended up switching off the feed.

    I've just looked it up - £31!!
Away fans not happy but sold out in 45 mins.
    A week tmrw, 12 noon.
I was just going to raise that same question, till I read this. Bigot brothers would have been more I suppose. Is this not supposed to be our biggest games of the season just pay up or don't go. Let's not forget we we don't know what the gate prices would have been last season but reckon there would have been an increase from the championship prices. A good chance they would have raised them again this season from last and the price of everything is going up no just fitba , but for a game against Dundee in my opinion we really should be looking for a sell out.

Feck, sure my juvenile season ticket (which got you into all games btw), was only £15 in 1987, when we had the Uefa Cup run!!

yeah think guy was complaining about me having different opinion to the long term posters and not agree with mods never helped.Really was not a problem and never even looked in for couple of weeks just had quick look in and noticed this thread could not help putting my tuppence in but getting the vipe time for me to leave it to mods and long time postersFeel sorry for anyone who can't afford the extra couple of quid I have been lucky and had decent job all my life so never had that problem others who just think it is to much to give the club really should just not go in my opinion hopefully the supporters who don't post on here will turn up and create great atmosphere

Really trying not to get involved in this but not really understanding what you are saying? you are saying you are not going to attend matchs unless they let you in for cheaper because you don't think they are good enough for the prices in this league(or utd are charging in this league). You will not go back either if they start playing a lot better because that would be glory hunting you will only ever go back if they let you in for cheaper. Not having a go in anyway here but that is what I think you are saying?Fair play if is what you are saying if you think the cost of supporting utd is too much then really only option is not to bother. Also agree a lot of games last season were a very hard watch and been bit mixed up to now this season.
