Just woke up after noddin off a wee while afore midnight .... day clothes now removed ( rools?? ) ... night attire on ... and for some daft reason, decided tae check in, check oot, check the story.

Grim readin predictionwise, but nae unexpected and nae unjustified.

The good news, for me, is that Ah'm gettin ma hei back doon in prep for an early up ... gig in Dunfermline early this efterneen, followed by a gig in Peebles in the evenin ... so ....

    In/oot: ... oot
Furryboots?: Somewye atween Dundee an' Dunfermline
Pre: catchin up on sleep in the passenger seat o' the gig-mobile
Durin: ... tryin tae find a signal in a field in the middle o' naewye for an update.
Post: Still tryin tae get a signal in the middle o' naewye .... and again hurtlin doon the road ... will get result eventually.
Prediction: 5-0 tae the good guys til somebody wakes me up an tells ma we got a good fkn kickin!

Oh the excitement of match day.
See the results from yesterday has us heading into this one with Timothy sitting in a high flying 9th place in the league, oh the joys.
But we can all see what this group of players are capable of doing and what the management team are trying to do with them, so despite our 9th place in the league and 8 straight games on the bounce without a win it is clear we are in very capable hands and there is nothing to worry about.

“the dons…formed a phalanx against spontenaeous gaiety that would have satisfied John Knox himself”*.

    Seems a fair assessment.

Given the fact that we toil against the 4-5-1 Hammerthrower Gambit, we should, in theory, create a bit more today as the hooped filth will attack. Unfortunately, with our defence continuing to re-run a Charlie Cairoli decorating scene - “get yer fuuckin fit oot o the paste bucket, Declan…watch oot for Bates swinging that plank, Joe…oh fuuck” - there’s little chance of us keeping the score blank.

We are lucky to be 9th. We were quickly knocked out of the cup competitions and for a team supposedly being an aggressive attacking team we don’t score enough goals to win matches. Glass “might” be here to quickly rectify his squad in January but if not I hope Scott Brown can phone some old managers for advice on how he can get us going again until the end of the season.

Today is the start of our season , forget this poor run of form we WILL win today and go on a run that will see us win the title come May …… or maybe the championship title following May?!

Glass min just play your best available 11 from the start but I would exclude Joe Lewis from that 11 today and start with Woods in goal.

Man U game yesterday prime example of why you should always field your strongest 11 from the start , too many managers try to be too smart nowadays and ultimately they end up looking stupid and/or getting sacked.
