Lose that and we would be at least 9 adrift, probably 10 if Chesterfield beat Alty at home on Tuesday night as well.

Charlie: Notts County suffer a miserable defeat at Eastleigh. never in the game. To be honest, 1 or 2 tame efforts at goal.

Stall: Keepers made a couple of comfortable saves from distance. Credit to Eastleigh who were organised and allowed Notts to have possession in safe areas. 1st goal was a calamity, real basics, people not doing their job properly. 2nd goal also a bit of a calamity. Never really opened Eastleigh up.

Sounds like it wasn't just Slocombe who takes the blame.

We have a 0.60 PPG record against them.

There's only five clubs we have a worse PPG record against

    137. Kidderminster 0.50
    138. Milton Keynes 0.38
    139. Rushden & D 0.33
    140. Wimbledon 0.17
    141. Fleetwood T. 0.00

It’s not time to panic, we’ve been playing really well and like any team and especially at this level we were due a poor performance, hopefully we bounce back Tues.

We’ve chucked in these performances far too regularly since we’ve been in this league. Which I suppose is why we’re still in it.

In terms of current standings, Eastleigh are the lowest ranked club we've lost to, 14th.
Overall, the only real bad result is the 4-1 reverse at home to Woking (currently 12th) and today was the first league defeat in 6, but this just goes to show how good and consistent you have to be if you want to challenge for top spot and we are in real danger of completely losing touch again.

Burch is on, sounds flat, as you'd imagine he would. "Today we lost 2-0 and I thought it was a fair result. We don't have too long to dwell on it (with the games coming up). We're a bit off the pace (table) but a lot of games to play yet."
