The owners had a good look today of what is coming down the road if things don't improve .

One stand open and to be honest an embarrassment with how many people were actually in attendance .

It's not an embarrassment to me mind but a reflection on the consortium .

I wasn't too bothered when we first loaned out Sibbick. But now seeing as hes an improved player, I can't understand it because hes got to be a better option surely.
And this is what always pees me off, the idea of players either being played all the time or never at all, regardless of form.
This doesn't help the team at all of course, and it makes me wonder sometimes just what is the point in us bothering anymore. 😕

No it wasn't a bad day on the lash I agree we were their early too .

None the less we were embarrassing that day .

At least back then we had characters and we all knew it was one of those days we got away with .

Today I'm not so sure .

Massive difference mi owd from back then in my opinion with what we face today .

    My thoughts.
Well done Barrow - you can be very proud of the team and your supporters.

Who of us that watched Banger Banks could imagine a time when his son would play at Oakwell for an opposing team and score a goal that his father would be extremely proud of.
    Fantastic !!!

    Barnsley.
    First the bad news.
    Brittain.
Goes from bad to worse - summed up when he broke through in the 2nd half and from about 6 yards out his shot nearly went for a throw in.
His crosses into the box were generally abysmal.
    He needs dropping.

    Kichen.
Poor game - plus any bother on the field and he’s always straight there.
A red card waiting to happen.
And other Championship clubs will have taken note of that.

    Palmer.
    Continuous inconsistency.
Flashes of brilliance soon followed by schoolboy errors.
    Needs to be dropped.

    Victor.
Needs to be moved on ASAP.

As for some of the other players - such as Hondermarck, Styles, Williams - they didn’t pull any trees up.
Bit of a lazy kick about in the park for them.

    Defence.
What would happen if Helik was sold !?!?!
    Mads looked lost.
    Their headed goal an example.

Now for the bit of good news - and it is a bit.
    Vita.
    Had a decent first game.

    Cole.
Looked promising and just needed the right service.

Morris again shows what a good target striker can do - held the ball up well and brought others into play.
Plus - took 2 goals really well.

Asbaghi and Morris interviews after the match more or less revealed what fans already know - that the mentality of many of the Barnsley player’s is well and truly foooked.

Have you all seen/heard this ludicrous Bbc highlights video, where the local Barra Fc commentator is taking the absolute pi*ss to be honest with his extremely loud shouty biased commentary.
Ok normally I do like this sort of thing if Im a neutral fan, but as its against my own team on this occasion, it really annoys me this time!.

I went Acido. They deserve to take pride from that and I don’t begrudge them a bit of fun , might be feeling more like you though had we not scraped the win.

It was value for money for a tenner lol

The loud shouty biased commentary was Radio Cumbria the Beeb had the choice of Sheffield or Cumbria.
Good choice I found it quite funny and very good entertainment for Free.

I enjoyed the commentary and didn't find it annoying at all .

Plenty of passion from the Cumbrian commentators and no wonder with their team scoring some wonder goals , down to 10 men and simply refusing to lay down and die .

It's what the FA cup is all about .

Tha can't begrudge their commentators going ape. 2 nil darn wi 10 men away to a side 2 divisions above. Great comeback and a big thing for Barrow and their supporters scoring 4 goals at a championship club
