Warneys said he’ll get 20 minutes here and there between now and end of season surely he can manage that even if he’s come from part time football
I suspect the problem is when do you play him when/if we’re sure of promotion? When/if we’re 3 0 up in a game?
He’s obviously going to “trust” the likes of Smudge and Freddie to get the job done in the main

I watched much of the practice match that Georgie was involved in when he first arrived (was in the car park awaiting my golfing partner, and there's a sneaky little gap in the tarpaulin on the fences). His movement was good, and he was incredibly "game" and committed. He scored. But, but, but, he looked like what he currently is: A semi professional footballer. It's obvious he needs to bulk up and improve his fitness. He's nowhere near ready for this season. But there were glimpses that, with a Warney pre-season behind him, he could make it!

I'd still have Kelly before Kayode. I know I said I wanted Kayode in the side but he's hardly shown anything to retain his place even on the bench.

Kayode played in that practice match. He looked significantly better than Kelly. Much fitter. Much faster. Waaaay stronger.

The two looked what they are: one semi-pro, the other a full on professional.

Next season we'll see what Kelly is about.

Practice games are that. Kayode in EFL games not looked ready for them. Let's see if Kelly is. Need a striker on bench to bring something to the side.

I think the length of his contract says a lot about PWs plans for him.

I think the signing of Kelly was a stoke of genius by the management. He may not have played yet but since being here he's certainly brought us the luck of the Irish. Long may it continue

There is some doubt as to lineage. Although certain versions have the eponymous Kelly as Irish in the original 1908 musical it was a Manx lady searching for her lost love and went "Anybody here seen Kelly? Kelly of the Isle of Man." QED.

Kelly will get his chance, my guess is it won't be against MK.
Most likely take part IF / When promotion is confirmed.
Georgie boy is progressing well although he's possibly finding the physical demands tougher than he anticipated.

I see my attempts at musical hall wit fall constantly on barren ground. mandy and gino had better audiences!
