    TTT

Could you please tell me what Harkes is good at, i am baffled what you think hes good at.

Tackling very poor or winning ball back ..very poor
    Assists worse than very poor.
Passing , he does pick pass now and again, not very often though. so poor
Heading.. cant even remember heading ball so has to be fk awful
    Crossing ..very poor
Goals he has scored 2 league goals , one cup, which hand on heart they were huge goals, He got us 6 points.. so he does come up with huge goals, give pass, but next one be next season about October.
Runs about a lot , even i could run about a lot, with very little end product.. to me very poor

i will get my head cut off for this comment..lol

Didn't he score a header in the 1-1 draw at Celtc Park? 🙂 Anyway, what he does better than anyone else we have is close down the space in midfield making it harder for the opposition to play. This was sorely missing from our play on Sunday, for instance.

While Hearts position this season speaks for itself, these last 2 games we played against them, i witnessed a team on the day who i didnt consider were any better that other clubs that visited and walked out with the points!

Funny but are we not scoring more goals now with him out the side, might be coincidence, but i am sure we are, funny thing i was at his first game he came on , played Montrose, i thought he could be a top player, i really did, but for me i think we should be looking for better, bit i don't get some think he does great job and some think he offers nothing, he is def one or the other..

I don't particularly rate Harkes or Butcher but anyone who says we aren't missing them right now is at it. Were none of you at our last two games? Our midfield made Charlie Adam look like Messi ffs! And Sunday, well surely I don't even need to go there? We were completely dominated in midfield & ripped apart almost at will. Hearts' third goal being a prime example.

When Butcher has performed this season it has mainly been in defence not midfield. Our best run of the season September/ October (the reason we are in the top 6) he hardly featured in the team. Harkes played in all of them. So I agree on Harkes but not on Butcher.

Harkes is a complete lightweight, 1 booking in 32 games tells you all you need to know about him.( how is that even possible for a central midfield player)

We have never won a game in 2 seasons without Fuchs or Butcher starting. or to put it another way when he starts and they dont.

The fact that he is now 27 years old and he still need babysat in midfield if frankly embarrassing.

I hope he ****s off and we get a midfielder in who isnt scared to put his foot in.
