Thought I'd post this fresh and early so, let's start it off:

No shows: AckworthMiller, RolyMiller and Frog who I kindly reminded last Tuesday night not to forget. Mind you, he was on his 5th pint of Guinness

Highest scorer(s): No jokers played, therefore, three worthy winners scoring 9 points + their 5 bonus points = 14 points each. gm_gm, Grist and myself.....a yahoo from me at last.

I know it’s hard to believe with the amount of weeks I’ve missed this season, but I did post for yesterday’s matches. Scored 7 by my reckoning. Still not enough to lift me off the foot of the table but might help in my quest avoid finishing bottom at the end of the season!

Just to let you know Brin I plan to play my Joker sometime between Week 40 and Week 46 as having done statistical analysis there are historically far more draws in April than any other month of the season and hence a better chance of scoring BIG

That was going to be my tactic, too, CAM. Not sure why Brin keeps encouraging an early use (unless he's planning a rule change whereby jokers unused by December 31 will be forfeited!)

This is a marathon not a sprint (and based on this analogy, I may be accused of stopping off every ten minutes to smell the flowers - but, in reality, I'm saving myself for the final mile!!)
