From the kick-off at the start of the game, the ball is passed to who? He then punts it down in the Hearts half and the next thing they are on the counter and it is 1-0. They are living off the back of last season. Well, it is a new campaign and we have not a lot of points yet. Now if Sandy Clark was commentating on the AZ match he would say that was holo***** defending by Smith, punting the ball across the defence just before the third goal. As for Edwards he should have been shouting encouragement but he was as silent as the United support at Tannadice against Livingston where the team performance was about possession and hope that Livi dinnae score, oh s*** they did, what can we do now? Void of ideas and are about as dangerous going forward as old folks in a care home.

Was a genuine question. He can't be all that bad if he was voted the best keeper in the league twice.

We kept a cleansheet at home to Alkmaar where he looked ok, no teams outwith the obvious two are as good as AZ who will visit Tannadice this season, its a better win than most other clubs will have all season (definitely the best a team from this city will have) , surely that's some crumb to hold onto that he isn't going to cost us every single game

Agree with this. The defence has been shocking. Edwards looks like a fish out of water. Smith and mulgrew not much better.

Think that’s a bit harsh on defence, it’s not been great but Edwards/mulgrew, only played two league games together this season and conceded 2 goals, Both outstanding at home v Alkmaar, exposed badly by midfield away. Not saying they’ve been great, but defence almost single handedly got us where we are past two seasons.

Keepers get judged differently for simple fact they make a mistake their is no hiding. Just need team to be solid and disciplined as against Alkmaar at home, and for attack to start taking on it’s responsibility so we can out score teams and for it to not always be on the defence to win us games.

Sorry but Eriksson is the worst keeper I've seen for us now, no idea why Birighitti is dropped for this clown, I know he don't look great either but AZ at home he kept a cleansheet and wasn't bad away to Killie, this guy is a total joke
