We'll have to wait and see whether his teams will ever play attractive football again, but we'll have to wait until he has a squad of players capable of it first, and he hasn't got that at Everton.

I suppose your ideal manager would be Bielsa, loved by the fans at Leeds, trying to keep them in the Pl with open, attacking football. Where is he now ? Any road UG, we can both agree on one thing, we won't be seeing any attacking flair football from Everton for the rest of this season. Good luck to Sean, I think he might have jumped out of the frying pan into the fire leaving Burnley for Goodison, he should have waited for a nice cushy Championship job to come up, stopped in his comfort zone.

Yea exactly right Sinkov in all your points here. Your right I would love to have a Bielsa type manager when ever we are due a change. As for where he is now, he turned down the Everton job just recently. Yea good luck to Sean that's for sure.

The whole BUZZ around the place after the first 5 minutes against Huddersfield was enlightening.

Any how in 400 games, VK will not be here. Probably 120 games I would imagine, if that.
That's a shame U-G because we will never know then if he can "Do a Dyche" and keep us in the EPL for six seasons and take us into Europe.

More evidence that Americans and football are not a good mix.

"Chelsea owner Todd Boehly might have asked his manager to field 12 players, but when it comes to the business side, he's got it all worked out... right?

In a recent meeting with some football agents, the American was asked how he planned to recoup his £500 million shopping spree in the transfer market. Boehly assured them the club could easily afford to spunk Liberia's budget deficit on new players because they qualify automatically for the Champions League every year, raking in millions in TV money as a result. After an awkward silence, one agent piped up to explain that Chelsea did not automatically get a spot in the Champions League, and were unlikely to make it next season considering they are currently 10th in the league. "That's nonsense! We're in it every year. Always have been." the American chuckled, before excusing himself from the meeting.

After consulting his team, he returned a few minutes later and admitted he'd got it wrong. Whoops."

That reminds me of Venkys, rumour has it that they bought BRFC not realising that teams could be relegated from the prem.
