By the time rodrigo comes back it will be to late, cos this lot can't score to save their lives, we're relying on other teams failings rather than our own efforts, (bit like last season) except this season I think we're out of luck on that front.

Eh, someone forgot to invest in an accomplished striker. So glaringly obvious. Tw4ts.

Different game same old sh1t really.

The lack of quality in the final third will probably cost us our Premiership status.

League is the important part, some decent play tonight, final ball / final third just not working. Just got to keep banging on the door & a bit of luck could make all the difference.

Their goals were well taken (one was a gift) and they really should’ve had a penalty.

Rutter was unlucky not to get a brace in the first half and a few definitely didn’t have their shooting boots on.

Oh well, we can press on for a European spot instead…

Fulham were not noticeably the better side last night - we created more chances and their two goals were unbelievable strikes that on another day get saved/go wide.

Solomon in particular had a great first touch but hadn’t shown he was likely to hit the ball like that before hand.

We are getting used to a new system and Gracia was probably trying new combinations as a free hit.

Rutter will be good but pretty clear that not ready yet and that PL step up in terms of added physicality and less time. That said he was unlucky not to score.

Ball didn’t really run for Gnonto too much last night.

Summerville looks very tricky but was up against a quality full back who was for me man of the match and coped fairly well. He just needs to bring more awareness and sometimes subtlety to his game which will come with time.

Three of Adams, Roca and McKennie doesnt really work or didn’t last night as no schemer in there. Adams and mcKennie looked more comfortable when Aaronson came on on was a forward creative outlet.

Think they will find a way to get him playing in the hole more.

Harrison played left wing works much better.

The only player who looked out of place and lacking confidence was Rasmus (you could see by his body language).

Koch looks to be turning into one of the strong leaders in the side.

Ayling is so much better at RB than CB.

A lot of that is patently obvious but we now have a coach who seems to see that and whose subs last night were pretty good.

Bamford sadly seems to have definitely reverted to bad EFL Patrick and even his closing down looked a bit half arsed.

If we can solve the goal scoring bit we wi be fine this season.

How long do we have to wait (and we have no time anyway!), for this.....

"If we can solve the goal scoring bit we will be fine this season.". Statement of the blindingly obvious, shame our board are (and have been for nearly a season now), seemingly oblivious to the fact.
