For a first attempt it was better than I thought it would be. Though more could join in. Maybe need to do it like Wolves and Weds, where everyone joins in for a few words. i.e. everyone joins for Rotherham Fan and that's the way to stay.
I've just been reminded of another anthem we had until some buggers pinched it 😆
"Annie's song" has. just been on a list of one hit wonders on the beeb.
They even mentioned the blades in the on screen notes
I thought the same thing when it came on tbh,Cam,
Until it went through some of the chart positions.
Nothing else broke the top 40.
There was another programme after it.
How was that not a hit, that featured "country road".
Despite loads in America and other places, just the one here and described him as the most talented, most successful "one" hit wonder
Mind you, as it got towards the end of the programme, there were one or two artists where it was patently obvious why it wasn't a hit 😆
Still as we've seen on here many times over the years music is very subjective
Thought yesterdays events were going to be a bit cringeworthy but as it went I thought it turned out quite OK, better than expected. I even sang along. Think it will develop.
Thought it was OK,afterall it's a tune that has been sung for years, but as others have said, we've already got our own song that fitted perfectly, think we should still play this after a victory.
Obviously Frankie's estate won't get many royalties this session !
Was a shambles tonight like I predicted earlier, having to kick off again so we could take the knee when every other club just stands looking in bewilderment, its like we are submitting to them before the game has started, then Batchelor Boy is playing in the background when the game has kicked off.
Then on I player when we score they are showing the Hull player diving incident on replay instead of our goal!
We are in a dreadful state on and off the pitch.
Please ditch this anthem nonsense.
Ashamed to be a Miller at the moment
