Out - I'm afraid. on the basis that I believe he was the wrong choice in the first place.

Absolutely no wish to see Stuart Maynard humiliated, he seems a good guy but this is just not working. I didn't enjoy the game at all yesterday and see little, if any progress. I'm disinclined towards more afternoons like that and others recently.

When the Reedtz changed head coach last time to bring Burchnall in it was almost exactly at this time of year. They answered questions about the timing by saying they wanted to bed a new head coach in to give him a head start for the following season. The precedent is there, although I don't expect them to press the button immediately.

The Magpies' season doeasn't now leave much to play for. I'd ask Jim to take charge and just maybe, good things might come from that such as team bonding and experience for Jim. The main concern for me would be the kind of new head coach the owners might choose to follow him.

The Brothers are not daft. I would guess its all about availability and timing now.

Out for me, initially gave him the benefit of doubt but he has not shown anything that leads me to believe he can turn it around.

I'm still unsure. I think he's been let down by the players somewhat but was hoping for more success by now.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he got the boot but I think perhaps we may as well stick until the end of the season.

'Still' Swale? Last time I saw you were a clear 'out'. Is he winning you over?

I think my previously clear 'out' was down to immediate-post-match emotion.

We're not going up or down and after 4pts from 7 I was hoping Maynard had turned a corner but yesterday was a massive step backwards.
Dropping Ashby Hammond after a clean sheet and assist, switching Jones to the right which he's tested to destruction already and playing Chicksen ahead of JOB or Bostock just gifted Salford the first half.
I'd give him Easter but he needs minimum three, preferably four points from both games to justify keeping him.

What's going to change between now and Easter ? We need to get rid now before morale drops to the point of no return..

The two wins we got against Newport and Bradford were against two teams that played unusually bad as in the case of Newport and a team that is in a mega slump as is the case of Bradford. All in all those two wins mask how bad we have become so I would have to say out but take half a dozen players to your next non league club please.

I wasn’t able to see the Bradford or Salford games but I was hoping that we had turned the corner after a draw away at Accrington and then a good win away at Bradford. I need to see a couple more games to make my final judgement but it’s not looking good.

LW team beat Accrington, Bradford and Salford so got 9 points. SM’s team got 4 points.

It was disappointing hearing and reading that we lost to Salford and I felt that should have been the pivotal moment in which home fans that had not seen us play away could finally get behind and on board with SM. But it was not to be.

What I don’t understand from what I’ve read is why the changes to personnel and formations again for Salford after a good win against Bradford? I understand that each team will provide different challenges but I’m wondering if we are more concerned about the opposition each game than ourselves under SM.

There is no denying that we are truly awful at home in terms of results this year so far and there needs to be an improvement before the season ends to give some positive and hope for next season.

The other factor is we now the defence is awful and needs an overhaul and for me that is one of the factors that makes me think what would it be like under SM if he had a better defence. This may get fixed by the club in the summer but then the other side of the coin is what happens if we lose Jodi Jones and Macauley Langstaff. Will we become a solid team defensively but one with less creativity? So swing the other way.
